Ceramic green machining with diamond wire saws

The green ceramic saw is a diamond wire saw of company DRAMET

DRAMET diamond wire grinding machines saw green ceramics into contours and 2D shapes.

Sawing green ceramics with DRAMET diamond saw bands has the technical advantage of producing a clean cut without chippings even with complicated contours. The DRAMET DS 150 NC or DS 750 NC 4 diamond wire grinding machines are also ideal for sawing highly complex green ceramic components.

Thanks to the horizontally guided wire unit, the green ceramic material remains in the starting position. Pre-programmed contours from external CAD programs are supported by automatic tool radius correction and contour closure as well as the graphic display of the entire process simulation.
