Sawing aluminum oxide and technical ceramics with DRAMET diamond band saws.
Materials such as aluminum oxide can thus be sawn individually
When cutting aluminum oxide, many technical advantages arise from the use of diamond band saws: They ensure extremely stable cuts and thus prevent the substrate from breaking away.
The sawing process is performed with cooling and water with an optimum feed rate of about 70 mm/min. Aluminum oxide parts are industrial ceramic parts.
