GRP materials sawing with diamond band saws
DAMET diamond band saws saw GFRP and CFRP materials
Consistently accurate sawing and cutting of GFRP and CFRP materials. When sawing GFRP or CFRP materials, the cut surface and, more importantly, the tendency to delaminate at the cut surface must be taken into account.
DRAMET cutting solutions ensure stable strips that do not break out. Sawing can also be performed with cooling. The cut surface is comparable to a ground surface and does not fray. The material can be easily machined with diamond band saws.
Band saws are used to saw off strips or trim the material. Contour cuts are only possible to a limited extent here. Diamond wire grinding machines are used for this.
