DRAMET – Engineering Meets Precision

We build your individual diamond saw in our special machine construction department

As far as possible, we always try to fulfill your application task with our series machines and the adapted devices. DRAMET has therefore made it its mission to always implement the most economical solution for its customers.

We work together with our customers to find the right diamond saw and find exactly the sawing device that corresponds to the special material geometries that our customers want to produce in series.

We do a lot to ensure that our system meets your requirements exactly. From the testing of sawing units and table devices to the handling of the machine in the production process and the appropriate software programming.

DRAMET also takes care of your safety concept, which can include appropriate safety devices or spray protection cabins in accordance with your requirements.

The aim is always to meet the time specifications and cycle times of our customers.

What makes us special?

The sawing process is only perfect when the cut surface meets the customer’s requirements. For example, the sawing surface and sawing tolerance are checked. Does a band saw or a wire saw produce the optimum result or is a laser required? To ensure perfect cutting results, we test various bands and wires in-house. During the tests, we also determine what the optimum handling on your system should look like. Our aim is to adhere to the required cycle times, in this context we determine the main and auxiliary times.

How the machine is to be manufactured is determined. The implementation for later handling is extremely important. How will the material be held and inserted into the machine? The customer’s requirements in terms of location, time and space must be defined. Which automation technology options are required and which software adaptations are necessary. How should the workpiece table be designed and how should the machine be operated? The traversing axes are planned individually for you. A connection to an existing production line can also be essential. We also need to clarify which safety devices are required.

The machines are designed using 3D CAD drawings and programs. Once the drawing has been created, the machine is produced as a 3D model and sent to the customer for inspection. As soon as it has been approved, the parts are manufactured in our in-house production facility.

They are then assembled and aligned in the assembly stations. As soon as the machine is completed, it is put into operation and run in.

Our customers usually come to our premises for acceptance.
