In the basic version BS 270 S, the saw is operated manually. However, the diamond saw can also be equipped as an NC-controlled 2-axis machine, BS270 XY.
The sawing forces can optionally be used to influence the feed rate, which defines the speed of the material passing through. In this case, the display shows the feed control or the sawing forces.
The diamond band saw also impresses with its open and interference-resistant design. Our machines are built on site and are subject to the highest quality tests.
Sawing is possible in dry cutting and optionally with cooling.

Further technical details on the BS270 S/X/XY diamond saws
The diamond saw band runs endlessly over two rollers. It is driven and pneumatically tensioned by the upper roller, which is adjustable in height. The band tension is set via the adjustable air pressure on the pressure reducer. The belt is guided close to the processing point by two backlash-free guide roller units. The belt is driven by a frequency converter-controlled three-phase motor. The belt speed is infinitely variable from 200 – 2200 m/min.
The belt unit can be moved program-controlled with a ball screw and the servo motor (X-axis). The traverse paths and feed speeds are programmable. The tables can be positioned using buttons. Control: Mitsubishi PLC control, touch screen with menu-guided programming. The BS270 X becomes the NC-controlled 2-axis machine BS270 XY by equipping it with a Y-table driven by a servo motor.
In the basic version, the machine is operated manually. It can be tilted with an adjusting screw so that the linearly guided X-table moves under its own weight. It can be used for dry cutting or optionally with cooling. For dry cutting, a suction cup is connected to the suction nozzle provided. In the stainless steel machine version, pure water without additives can be used for cooling.

Y stop
Manually adjustable fence resting on the X-table for the Y-direction (with clamping). The workpiece can be clamped on and moved in parallel to cut off slices.
Y-table
Workpiece support table with linear guidance in the Y-direction with drilling pattern for clamping the workpieces. The work table has 210 mm infeed path. It is positioned with a handwheel. The respective position can be read off a digital display with an accuracy of 0.01 mm.
Coolant system with filter insert
Collecting tray with drain into the coolant tank, coolant pump, coolant supply with stopcock, automatic control of the coolant system. A filter fleece measuring approx. 0.7 x 0.7 meters can be inserted and replaced as required
Coolant system with deep-bed belt filter
